Hey guys! FINALLY settling in from my move! Back in sunny South Florida, so happy to be home. Haven’t had time to get too in depth with the nail art, or paint my nails for that matter…. but I had some time last night and quickly threw on one coat of Cherry Tomato by UO!
I LOVE RED POLISHES!
Also, trying to decide if I should watermark more often with my instagram name or website?
YES! This week I’m swatching my own polish, Princess Bubblegum. Available at KattClaws.Etsy.com… currently the shop is closed while I’m in the process of moving, but for any serious inquires, feel free to email me at KattClaws@gmail.com.
This is as festive as it’ll probably get guys!
Butter London - Pillar Box Red
Essie - Licorice
China Glaze - Glistening Snow.
Also! Great news coming to any South Florida ladies! :)
Enjoy!
It’s a Trap-Eze! by China Glaze :)
Glitter vomit right here. This is just two coats! I tried one coat, but even then some areas would be opaque and others had scattered glitter spots. Not sure how I’m feeling about this polish. Love/hate?
Finally got my kitty katt claws on Sea Dust from Urban Outfitters. A very affordable dupe of Deborah Lippmans: Mermaid’s Dream.
These past couple of months haven’t been the best for me, thank you everyone for supporting my site, and my shop! I’m incredibly grateful.
Stay tuned for wonderful holiday news. :)
Swatches of Ooh La Lacquer!
God only knows how much I love this polish! JAM PACKED with glitter, so easy to get full coverage with just one coat, and near opacity with two coats. I love, love, love the base colors I chose, I feel they compliment each franken so well! PLUS right now Nastassia is having a $5 SALE!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT! You already know what to do…. http://www.etsy.com/shop/OohLaLacquer
YESSSSSSSS GLITTER! Ooh La Lacquer’s - Grosky Lil’ Beotch.
This is only ONE coat over Essie - Off the Shoulder. Could I love this polish anymore? Photos don’t even do it justice. It’s so jam packed with glitters, different shapes and sizes. It has an awesome consistency, and I could easily wear it alone. I like to think my nails look like cotton candy vomit right now. Noms.
Wrote a long review and then my internet went out. So. Long story short:
I tried the PVA glue/”peel off” base coat method. Painted 3 layers to make it kind of thick on my nails. Had to wait about 15 minutes for it all to properly dry. Once it dried, applied 2 coats of Ooh La Lacquer’s “Beware of the Plastics.” Wore for a day with no peeling, chipping, etc. Took off the next night. This doesn’t peel off as easily as you may think. It may be because my nails are long, or because the polish was thick, who knows. It’s not something I would do all the time, but it is worth it! I must say, make sure to only use an orange-wood stick or a rubber pusher. You have to put a lot of pressure on your nail bed and if you use a metal cuticle pusher…*shudders* I can’t even imagine.
These are my all time favorite franken/indie/glitter polishes I own to date. No joke. My most wonderful and amazing friend @NastassiasNails created this new line of polish, Ooh La Lacquer. Available to purchase here

Based off of the movie, Mean Girls, I knew this polish and I were destined to be together. ;) I’m currently wearing Beware of the Plastics, which is yellow, blue, turquoise and pink glitters. Please just GUESS how many coats I’m wearing…GUESS!…Two. I am wearing only two coats! *swoons*
I am way too excited to try the next, but I’m going to leave this glitter on till at least tomorrow night. Ignore the nice gap around my cuticles, I’m trying out the new peel off base polish so we’ll see how it works out tomorrow. Yay! xo
